The City of Aceh

Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam or Aceh, as we know is located in the northern tip of the Sumatra island, with Banda Aceh as their capital city. Aceh is an Islamic province with the most amount of Muslims in the country. And a pretty rich city. But as we kno that Aceh got a tragic earthquake and tsunami at August 2004. This tsunami made about 500.000 people homeless and the 170.000 other killed. After the tsunami their economy dropped but only after 2 years after the tragedy they are able to bounce back to normal, not just the economy that bounced back but all of it just came back to normal and even better. In Aceh some people still uses Acehnese language for communicating with others, but they all still uses Indonesian language for their daily uses, so there’s no need to be afraid to go to Aceh you can still understand their language if you’re an Indonesian or you can speak Indonesian, but for other tourists maybe you should bring your Indonesian dictionary just in case. Aceh is famous for their beautiful and Taj Mahal like Grand Mosque, their Aceh Tsunami Museum, their delicious foods, and their unique culture, and many more. So if you are interested to go to Aceh, then just go I guarantee that it will be a whole new experience that you’ll never regret.
